California Hot Rod Reunion XII

Well another CHRR has come and gone and even though everyone
says "It don't get no better than this"
It always does. Though I was not able to attend this one Dana and Layton Winters
came down from
Spokane and got some great photos for Nitrogeezers. This is just the beginning
of several pages of cars, people. Cacklefest and racing action shots. I hope you
enjoy them and I want to "Thank" Sam Jackson, Gregg Sharpe and
Bill Groak for making this happen.
So Let's take
A Walk Around "The Patch"

NitroGeezers were will represented at CHRR this year. Here are
a few that
were present for this great event.

In my opinion this is one of the best shows in Drag Racing and
Mousie Marcellus
is the sports best ambassador. I'm proud to say the Mousie is a "Charter
Member"
of Nitrogeezers and my friend. You can be behind the wheel of this "Fire
Breathing"
AA/FA for a Fire-Up. CLICK HERE to
find out how.

"A Happy Man" and well he should be. Dennis Prater
who owns the restored
"S & H Red Stamp Special" has a lot to be proud of as John
Shoemaker did a
great job on the restoration. follow the restoration and read the history of
this
fine piece CLICK HERE

I can't wait to se it in its Red Metalflake Paint

Jim Crook's beautiful SOHC Ford Powered Restoration was on
hand as well.

Ted Radoumis had his great looking Willys Pick-up at
Bakersfield
again this year. Watch for the upcoming feature on the history of
Ted and this great old Gasser

John & Don Ewald had a very busy but rewarding weekend
as the "windowed" the block in there beautiful "BankAmericar'
when they fired the car just before the event but with the help of
the "Rat Trap" crew and a lot of friends they were able to pry the
Donovan
between the rails and win the "Best Performance" Award

What can be said about these two "icons" that hasn't
been said already?
It's great to see "Pappy" back in form after getting his pacemaker.

Dave Sammons and Crew brought the very beautiful restored
"Chubasco" digger out for the first time. This is a very nice car and
was
one of this years "hits". To follow the restoration and read the
history of
this great car CLICK HERE
