Race Day
Among all the other festivities there was a race at CHRR XII and since I wasn't there to bring you all the details here is a few action shots of a really good race
The Race winner and # 6 Qualifier 50960 @ 244.89 was Jack
"The Sheriff" Harris
out of Utah. In route to the win Jack set a new speed record of 257 mph
The Number 1 Qualifier 5.858 @ 236.34 was Denver Schutz
Bill Dunlap was the # 2 Qualifier 5.895 @ 238.41 Driving Mike Fullers Car
Bob Muravez Driving the "Western Hoist Special" was 3rd quickest 5.926 @
Jim Murphy in the "Orchard Supply" car was in the # 5 Spot 6.006 @ 229.94
Howard Haight in the seat of Butch Blair's "Fugowie"
was good for # 7 laying down a
6.064 @ 227.56
Rick McGee turned in a nice 6.080 @ 206.20 for the # 8 spot.
Pete Kaiser went 6.248 @ 219.94 to pick up the # 11 slot.
Sean Bellemeur was in the "Mastercam" car and turned
in a 6.178 @ 203.94 which
put him 12th in the field
The A/Fuel Top Qualifier was Darby Nagle 6.529 @ 209
