Poster announcing the new car

This shot is of the original car in 1964, on its way
to Cleveland Ohio. Photos was taken on
Route 66 as they began a tour of the East and Midwest

This shot is 41 years later as the new chassis leave
Peppmuller's shop in Arizona, headed for
Tom Hanna's shop in Wichita again on Route 66

The rear end housing and magnesium third member are
attached to the chassis jig

With the mock-up engine in place the chrome-moly tubing
is bent and tig
welded in
place. The front axle and radius rods are installed as well

Another shot of the first stages of the chassis in
Peppmuller's jig.

With the addition of the cage the chassis is almost a
"roller"

On the floor and on all four (almost), the roughed out motor
plate is in place

The Chassis arrives at Hanna's

The rolling chassis is now in Hanna's very well
equipped shop for the body
and other
touches that has made Tom famous for many years.

After the trip from California the newly powder-coated chassis went to
the Tom Hanna shop
in Wichita for Tom to work his magic
