The Restoration of the Doss, Clayton & King AA/FD Part 1 Wayne King aka 'The Peregrine"
In doing the research for the articles on this website, I have been fortunate enough to get to know and talk with many of the great people that were a part of drag racing during it's formative years and Wayne King is one of them that I am really glad to have gotten to know. Wayne has driven and been involved with many dragsters and is a wealth of information. He has helped me in many ways and has put me in touch with others that have shared there knowledge with me as well. I truly enjoy talking with him and hope we meet face to face at some point, "Thank You", Wayne Wayne is writing a book that should be published soon titled "The Boys of Bakersfield - Drag Racers".
