The Scrima, Adams and Smith car that used Gene's motor form the Olds
while he was in the military. The car had a homemade chassis that was built
by Ronnie Scrima and featured a spool type rear, that was uncommon for

After retuning from the Army, Gene & Ronnie Scrima put the Olds motor in this Fiat Modified

This was the beginning of the Albertson Olds sponsorship that was to be Gene's one and only primary
sponsor through out his many years in racing.

After the death of Leonard Harris and the loss of the Albertson Olds sponsorship, Gene teamed with
Tom McEwen . After several modifications to the car they continued to run under the Adams & McEwen banner.
