PERSONAL "Not Drag Racing Related"
A Family Members Battle
This is not something you would normally see on this website, but it is something of great importance to me and my wife so please bear with me. My wife, Brenda, who is very important part of the "behind the scenes" operation of this website has a crisis in her family that I would like to help with. Her older sister has been diagnosed with colon cancer and the doctors say it is of the aggressive type. She is very brave and strong in the face of this shocking news and while she is a divorcee and an LPN working as a home nurse, she has no health insurance and we all know what that can do to ones way of life. It also makes it harder to concentrate on recovery when one has to worry about the bills. She is a very self disciplined lady and does not live or want to live an extravagant life style.
My wife and I along with her other sisters are doing all we can to help out both financially and spiritually but we could use the assistance of the many great friends we have made in drag racing and through this website. As always we request that you add her to your prayer list as this is the biggest help of all. In addition to help her insure that she does not lose her home to this any amount that you might feel drawn to give would be greatly appreciated and used for the proper purposes.
We here at Nitrogeezers will be donating a percentage of the sales of the up coming 18 month calendar to assist her and anyone who might feel compelled to give as much as 20.00 to this worthwhile cause will receive one of the new calendars that will be available in April, FREE OF CHARGE with the entire donation going to the fund for Judy.
